Key Scanner Models & Features

1) QRoot Ontable Scanner | Without display, with QR and barcode scanner

A standard display-less scanner designed to scan items and transmit data directly into your inventory management system.

2) QRoot Scanner Terminal | 1.47-inch display with QR and barcode scanner

A wearable ring scanner worn on the finger, designed for counting small items. It is especially convenient for workers who frequently lift and move boxes, as it leaves the hand fully operational and all fingers free. Freeing up your warehouse staff's hands significantly increases overall productivity.

  • Battery Life: Performs approximately 10,000 scans on a single charge.

3) QRoot Scanner Terminal | 2.8-inch display with QR and barcode scanner

A versatile scanner with a larger display capable of showing detailed information, including product photos and item names.

  • Supported Mounting Options:

    1. Wrist strap

    2. Pistol grip handle

    3. Desktop stand

4) QRoot Scanner Terminal | 7-inch display with QR and barcode scanner

Featuring a 7-inch display, this device can be wrist-mounted or integrated into self-service terminals. It is ideal for high-SKU retail environments such as supermarkets, DIY/hardware stores, and pharmacies.

  • Self-Service & Price Checker: Functions as a self-service tablet allowing customers to locate products independently without waiting for store personnel. It can also act as a price checker via barcode scanning or manual item code entry.

  • In-Store Navigation: Customers can type in an item name to see its exact row and shelf location in the store.

  • Automated Planograms: We have developed dedicated software to streamline planogram creation. During inventory audits, the system automatically maps out warehouse layouts and product placement based on historical data.

Planogram Use Cases:

  • Purchase and sales planning

  • Product matrix optimization

  • Customer self-service item lookup

  • E-commerce order picking

Customer Self-Lookup Scenario:

A customer enters a product name. The screen displays navigation instructions for the sales floor, showing the exact floor, shelf, and last recorded location. This allows customers to find items independently, driving sales, improving customer experience, and freeing sales staff for other duties.

5) QRoot Scanner Terminal | 10-inch display with QR and barcode scanner

Designed for supermarket self-checkout areas. Its large display accommodates extensive transactional information and supports external hardware integration, such as weighing scales.

Self-Checkout Scenario:

Customers scan an item, place it on the scale to validate weight, quantity, and price, and proceed to payment. Once paid, the printer issues a receipt featuring a QR code. The customer scans this QR code at the exit gate to leave the self-checkout zone. Additionally, if the facility offers parking, the same QR code can validate free parking for store shoppers.
