Web link QR code generator
Brief Functionality Description:
Our QR Code Generator service allows you to generate two types of QR codes from a URL:
- Free Static QR Code for URL
You can encode a web address into this QR code.
This type of QR code allows the end user to scan it with their smartphone camera and access the URL via their browser. An internet connection is required to view the content on the linked page. -
Dynamic QR Code for URL
You can encode a web address into this QR code.
Our service will create a short link for this URL.
The generated dynamic QR code allows:
-
To track scan statistics;
-
To receive instant notifications;
-
To print it in a compact size;
-
To change the destination URL without needing to reprint the QR code.
Detailed Functionality Description:
Free Static QR Code for URL:
This feature allows you to encode a web address into a QR code.
The data in the QR code can be read by a smartphone camera or a laser scanner.
After generation, this QR code is independent of our service and can function indefinitely for free without additional conditions.
You can scan it for verification, save it to your account, download it to your device, or print it.
Static QR codes are suitable for short URLs.
For long URLs or if you need extended functionality, we recommend using dynamic QR codes.
Dynamic QR Code for URL:
This significantly enhances the functionality of static QR codes by converting them into dynamic QR codes.
To do this, after entering the URL, click on the "Enable Dynamic QR Code" button.
A short link will be created for your web address.
This allows you to benefit from the features described below.
Advantages of Dynamic Text QR Code:
-
Scan Statistics
You can track scan date, time, client’s time zone, device type, browser name, browser language, operating system, screen resolution, and more. -
Instant Notifications
You will receive notifications by email, browser, and in Telegram. -
QR Code Management
You can group and manage QR codes in your personal account. -
Change the Destination URL
You can change the destination link without reprinting the QR code.
This is helpful when the final URL needs to be changed on printed materials. -
Compactness for Printing
The code can be printed in a compact size (21x21 blocks/pixels).
This is especially useful when placing the QR code in a small space while ensuring it can be easily scanned. -
Multiple Business Use Cases
Dynamic QR codes can be used for a wide range of business purposes.
Instructions for Creating a QR Code from a URL:

-
By typing on the keyboard

-
By recognizing via webcam
It is recommended to paste from the clipboard to avoid errors.
Always include the protocol prefix (http:// or https://).
If you don't include it, the smartphone’s operating system will add it automatically when scanning.
Our service checks the URL for proper formatting and validity.
If the URL is unavailable or invalid, we will inform you of the error.
After completing the data entry, a static QR code will be generated automatically.
You can:
-
Scan it for verification;
-
Save it to your account;
-
Download it to your device;
-
Print it.
To convert your static URL to dynamic (Enable Dynamic QR), click the button:

A short URL will be created, redirecting to your web address.
QR Code Logo Selection:
If your website has a logo (favicon), we will offer it for use in the QR code.
You can also upload your own logo or image from your collection.
We recommend using a vector file (SVG) with an opaque background.
The logo should occupy no more than 25% of the QR code; otherwise, it may not be readable.
QR Code Color Selection:
You can choose from a color palette or input the color code from popular color systems.
The pipette tool allows you to copy a color directly from your browser window.
Ensure the QR code is readable in low-light conditions by using a white background.
Text Label for QR Code:
You can add a short text or number in the center of the QR code, which should occupy no more than 25% of its area.
It is recommended to place the type of QR code label above and the destination URL below the QR code for clarity.
Additional Settings:
-
Corner Radius:
Round the corners of the QR code for aesthetic purposes. -
Quiet Zone:
Increase the margin around the QR code for better scan quality. -
Minimum Version:
Automatically set to increase information capacity without needing changes. -
Error Correction Level:
Protects the QR code from damage.
By default, the value is set to 7%. This means that the QR code can still be scanned even if 7% of it is damaged.
If you add a logo or text, the error correction level will automatically be set to 30% for better readability.
Downloading QR Code File:
We recommend downloading the QR code in SVG format as it is vector-based, lightweight, and scalable.
PNG format is also available, which is more universal for non-SVG compatible editors.
End User Instructions:
-
Point your smartphone camera at the QR code.
-
You will be prompted to open the URL in your browser.
