17/05/2025Introducing our QRoot POS Terminal

What is a QR code for payments?

Here is the example of EPC QR code:

 Red Cross Qr Eps

This is the QR code in plain text.

Generated according to the instructions of the European Payments Council.

Scan it with a compatible banking app camera. A draft of the outgoing payment will be created.

This type of QR code for payments already works in most European banks. We will tell you about other types of payment QR codes in another article.

Problems with traditional bank terminals

For businesses that trade in expensive items or wholesale, the commission amount in monetary terms can be significant.

  • Expensive rent, about 10 euro per month
  • Bureaucratic process for obtaining a terminal
  • Necessity to buy paper
  • The money is credited to the bank account the next day
